Yesterday, I had the pleasure of working at Stitch Fix, located in downtown SF. It was such an amazing experience. For those of you who aren’t familiar to Stitch Fix…WAKE UP! Here’s a little background information. Stitch Fix is a new start-up company that has been in business for almost a year and business is booming! It’s what I like to call Birchbox for clothes. It’s like having a personal stylist and not having to to leave your house! You sign up on their website and request an invite. Once your request is granted, then you take a styling profile, which tells the Stylist team your personal style and the types of clothing you could potentially want in your wardrobe. They create individual looks for you and send them to you once a month (“a fix”). There are usually 5 items in each package you receive. You try on the clothes, keep what you like, and send back what you don’t. There is a $20.00 styling fee each time they send a “fix”, but it’s credited to your account if you buy something from that month’s “fix”. The employees at Stitch Fix are incredible. They greeted me with kindness and educated me on the operations of how their customers receive packages. They are all extremely hard working and believe in the Stitch Fix mission. I would encourage every girl to send a request because I saw the clothes first-hand and it was like having Pinterest in my closet! I could have died!
